HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

**************************************************************************************************

Dear Rural UPdates! Readers,

Over the last year we have achieved many successes pursuing food policy that truly serves rural American economies and their environment. While the phone calls, the letter writing, the emails may seem tiring and tedious, never doubt they are making a difference!

Among our accomplishments, none is more important than how each of you through your individual action is helping to foster a sense of community and common purpose between conservationists, family farmers and ranchers. Our tent is getting bigger. Together we prove people can work hand in hand for the future of the land and all it’s inhabitants.

While there are misguided forces that seek to divide and conquer, time and time again we have demonstrated the power in staying in alliance. Their deceptions may anger us and their resources may humble us, nothing can withstand the full intent of a group of dedicated people working in common cause. We are only beginning to witness the force of such a community.

Please let this greeting be a message of appreciation for you. You are a part of an important movement and it is your courage, tenacity and dedication that will one day realize the vision of a rural America with abundant family farms, healthy critters, clean water and a wild Earth.

From the bottom of our hearts than you and we wish you the happiest of holiday peace and blessings!
